Never in my life have I seen anything so awesome as this:
Moby Dick and the Mighty Mightor
Alex Toth is now the object of my worship. Kids in the '60s had all the raddest stuff. When oh when can I buy Mighty Mightor, The Herculoids and Shazzan on DVD?
Awesome indeed. And I have a theory that Mightor is set in the Flintstones universe post-apocalypse. The girl who rides around on the baby mammoth just looks too much like Pebbles - probably adopted by the caveman version of '70s Kenny Rogers.
I've always thought thre was a connection between Mightor's magic club, and that of Captain Caveman. Maybe the Stone Age equivalent of the Green Lantern Corps?

Yes! I love Toth too. There need to be more shows about Stone Age superheros.

i'm glad you mentioned Herculoids. Mightor was great, but Herculoids is one of my all-time favourite tv show.
and i know this show was later (like 1980), but Thundarr the Barbarian was also pretty fantastic.
Greg, did they make a show with Kamandi? I guess he's not really Stone Age, unless it's New Stone Age.
Matt, I thought of the Flintstones while watching that too. Caveman Kenny Rogers I didn't come up with though, so thank you for the image.
Not sure, Aaron, but it sure sounds like something Alex Toth would be down for.
